Star Health introduced major insurance policy

The policy is available on both individual and floater basis. As long as the Life Assured does not have any pre-existing disease, is undergoing medical treatment or is disabled, there is no requirement of pre-medical tests to avail this policy. Customers can buy the policy by way of premium which can be paid in quarterly or half-yearly installments. The product offers policy term of one year, two years or three years.

Sum Assured available up to 1 crore; Customer can opt for Sum Assured 10 lakhs, 2 million, 30 million, 50 lakhs, 75 lakh and 1 crore.

Coverage – Inpatient hospitalization, day care treatment, road ambulance, air ambulance, organ donor expenses, and pre and post hospitalization expenses

Additional benefits include AYUSH treatment, rehabilitation and pain management, bariatric surgery, coverage for advanced treatments, homecare treatment, hospice care, medical and telehealth consultations.

Covers outpatient medical expenses from day one

Automatic restoration of the Basic Sum Assured once up to 100% on partial or full utilization of Sum Assured.

Long term discount for 2-year policy – 10% off on 2nd year premium. For 3 years policy – 11.25% discount on 2nd and 3rd year premiums.
