State President Dhami talks with BJP leaders on Uttarakhand government India News – Times of India

New Delhi: A day after observers were announced for the selection of the Legislature Party leader in the state, the BJP leadership on Tuesday held a marathon meeting with the Uttarakhand leadership.
BJP President JP Nadda along with party General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santosh held a two-and-a-half hour meeting with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and State BJP President Madan Kaushik. The BJP’s election in-charge of the state, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi also attended the meeting.
The party won its second consecutive victory in the hill state, but lost from Dhami Khatima assembly constituency.
The BJP on Monday declared Union ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh as ‘observers’ for the selection of the legislature party leader in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand respectively. Later Dhami accompanied by BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP from Uttarakhand Anil Baluni reached the Parliament to meet Shah.
On Monday evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a marathon meeting with Nadda, Santosh, Shah, Singh, Joshi and Dharmendra Pradhan at his residence.
