Stop ration distribution, vaccination in the campus during board exams

New Delhi: The Directorate of Education (DOE) of Delhi has issued a circular asking the school to stop public activities like distribution of ration and vaccination during exam time along with CBSE Class 12th Term-I board exams.

CBSE class 10 and 12 board exams for short subjects will begin from November 17 and 16. The exams for major subjects for class 10 and class 12 will begin from November 30 and December 1, respectively. The mid-term examinations of class 9 and 11 are also scheduled from December 1. These exams will be conducted offline.

“For the smooth conduct of all examinations and to avoid any disturbance which may affect the sanctity of examinations, all public activities such as distribution to the Heads of all Government, Government aided and unaided recognized schools are directed to close rations, vaccination centers or other public related activities during the examination hours,” the circular issued on Monday read.

Heads of schools were also instructed to ensure masks, hand sanitizers and cleanliness inside the premises.

“Heads of schools shall also ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the government for prevention of COVID-19 pandemic are followed with due diligence by the students and staff of the schools,” it said.
