It was eight in the morning. It was foggy in the morning, but as the sun rose, the fog cleared. Sunday being a holiday, most of the residents were in or around Colony Park.

Suddenly, a tricycle came to a halt at the corner of the park. One person and four children got out of the vehicle. The children were between the ages of four and 10, the youngest a boy. The man looked tired. He was not dressed for the bitter cold.

Except the boy, all the other children were in school uniform. The man looked tense and distraught. The children immediately started playing, shouting here and there. They picked up papers and empty bottles and started throwing them at each other. Everyone was upset and upset. Everyone kept watching silently.

Soon, someone complained to the colony head, the chief. He immediately admonished the man in a rude manner. “Hey man, are you deaf? Don’t you see your children making a fuss for one and all?’

The man slowly raised his gaze but focused nowhere as he awoke from a trance and looked disoriented.

Finally, he came to his senses and said softly: “Sorry, I couldn’t concentrate. His mother died last night in a nearby hospital. They will release the body in the afternoon. I couldn’t do much.

“Yeah, my kids bothered you. I’m deeply sorry….. please. I’ll vacate immediately.

Everyone standing around suddenly had a different experience. All pretense and deceit disappeared from his face. He immediately became a man.

I apologized to her and asked, “How did this happen? How can I help you?” He just thanked me and called his kids. The boy was sleeping. I looked at her face. It was calm and cool without any hatred or fear. He was completely unaware of the harsh realities of this world. so be it!
