Delhi Police has registered a case over the alleged assault on a Class 10 student outside a school in Burari area, officials said on Friday. According to the police, the incident is of Monday and a video of it has gone viral.
The case was registered on Thursday based on a complaint filed by the father of a Class 10 student that a Riya (18), a juvenile (16) and others, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi, were outside the school with his daughter. had attacked. said. It was alleged that a class 10th student had posted something on social media against another girl from her school, who informed her brother.
Her brother Sujal (18) brought Riya, a teenager (16), Himanshu (21) and Rahul (20), a class 10 girl, to face them. Police said that Rahul, Sujal and Himanshu also assaulted a class 10 student.
Himanshu, Sujal, Rahul and Riya have been arrested under Section 41 (A) of CrPC. The counseling of class X girl child is being done by professional counselors. He said that the school authorities are making necessary interventions for the minor students involved in the incident. Apart from school students, four outsiders were involved in the incident.
