Sundaram MF’s Flexi Cap Fund NFO deposits ₹1679 cr

New Delhi: Asset Management Company Sundaram Mutual has announced the allocation of 1679 crores to 71,720 investors in its Flexi Cap NFO.

The fund opened for subscription on August 16 and closed on August 30, and is the second largest New Fund Offering (NFO) for an asset management company (AMC). It will re-open for subscription on September 12.

Sundaram Flexi Cap is an open-ended equity scheme with an exposure to large, mid and small cap stocks across sectors.

Sunil Subramaniam, Managing Director, Sundaram Mutual said, “The fund will aim to live up to its tagline of managing the risk-reward trade-off in favor of investors and optimizing opportunities by providing reasonable wealth creation in the medium term.”

The Sundaram Mutual website received a record 1.5 million visitors during the NFO, with almost half the collection being digital.

The fund will be managed by Sudhir Kedia, Fund Manager, Equity and Ravi Gopalakrishnan, CIO – Equity. The benchmark chosen is the Nifty 500 TRI Index.
