According to Sunny’s spokesperson, the ‘Border’ star suffered a back injury a few weeks back while shooting for one of his projects.
He was treated in Mumbai for a week and then went to America for treatment. Due to his injury, Sunny, the Lok Sabha MP from Gurdaspur in Punjab, did not attend the oath ceremony of President Draupadi Murmu.
“Sunny Deol suffered a back injury during a shoot a few weeks back, he was first undergoing treatment in Mumbai and then went to USA for his back treatment two weeks ago. During this presidential elections were held and he was not in the country because his treatment was not over yet. He should return to India after recovering,” the spokesperson said.
Sunny will be seen sharing the screen with Pooja Bhatt and Dulquer Salmaan in R Balki’s ‘Chup’. He is also coming up with ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Apne 2’.
