Sanju scored 433 runs after 10 matches, which is three more than Dhawan. When DC play KKR on Tuesday, Dhawan will have a chance to take over the captaincy. Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul is currently at number three with 401 runs in 10 matches. Faf du Plessis is fourth with 394 runs and Ruturaj Gaikwad is in fifth place with 362 runs.

Harshal Patel showed his mettle by taking a hat-trick against Mumbai Indians. This means that he now has the Purple Cap with 23 wickets, eight more than his next rival, Delhi Capitals’ Avesh Khan.
