Mr. Suresh unsuccessfully contested the 2019 election as a BJP candidate for the Railway Kodur Assembly seat.
The BJP has made Panathala Suresh its candidate for the by-election in Badvel assembly constituency. An announcement to this effect was made by the party’s national general secretary Arun Singh on the morning of 7 October.
A native of Pondalur village of Penagalur mandal of Cuddapah district, Mr. Suresh was the leader of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad from 2002 to 2018 and National Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha for a year leading up to his current promotion as an MLA. Candidate.
An MBA graduate and a Masters in Communication and Journalism, Mr. Suresh unsuccessfully contested the 2019 elections for the Railway Kodur Assembly seat as a BJP candidate.
