We all know that Swara Bhaskar recently tied the knot with political activist Fahad Ahmed. Swara and Fahadh’s path crossed in protest against CAA and now both have registered their marriage. The two became friends after meeting at rallies. The pre-wedding celebrations started a few days back and now the actress has shared some colorful pictures from her haldi ceremony.
Taking to her Instagram handle, she shared a series of pictures and wrote, “Turmeric in some cultures, Ubtan and Mayiya in some, but love is a language that all cultures understand. #According to taste”.
The actress also shared pictures from her mehendi ceremony. She looked mesmerizing in the saffron zari shoot with minimal makeup.
Meanwhile, earlier today, Swara Bhasker also posted some gorgeous pictures of herself and Fahadh from a Carnatic recital recital at their pre-wedding festivities. Swara Bhaskar dressed as a Telugu bride, and was seen wearing a red and golden brocade saree by Raw Mango, and accessorised with a nose ring, matha patti, necklace, earrings and other traditional jewellery.
Swara always grabs some headlines and this time too she has created quite a stir on the internet. She decided to take the internet by storm by surprising everyone with her wedding announcement. The actress tied the knot with political activist Fahad Ahmed. She shared an adorable video which shows the couple’s journey from how they met at a political protest to their court marriage. She revealed that the couple had legally married on January 6, 2023, under the Special Marriage Act.
