Swiggy Hunt for Viral Delivery Man Riding Horse, Internet Says “Hire Him Soon”

Swiggy has put up a 5K bounty for finding that guy.

A few days ago, a person created panic on social media with a Swiggy bag. He was seen riding a white horse as roads were flooded due to incessant rains in Mumbai.

As the man spread the internet for his unique delivery method, Swiggy took to Twitter to address the incident on Tuesday. The delivery platform garnered the unexpected publicity, however, it also sought help in identifying the unknown delivery agent that rose to fame in its name.

In the caption of the post, Swiggy wrote, “Let’s address the horse in the room.”

In a statement, the delivery platform said that after ending its search for a “simple” delivery partner, the company has turned to netizens for the help of a “Swiggy-wide-horse-hunt”.

“Who is this heroic young star? Storm or Lightning? What’s in the bag that’s been strapped to his back? Why is he so determined to cross a busy street in Mumbai on a very rainy day? Where did he park his horse when he went to give his orders?” Read Swiggy’s statement.

In addition, the company said it has also offered a “bounty”. “This is the first person at Swiggy Money to 5K that can give us some useful information about our casual brand ambassadors, so we can thank them,” it added.

Swiggy also clarified that despite its efforts to choose more eco-friendly delivery practices, it has not replaced the usual delivery vehicles with horses, mules, donkeys or any other animals.

Meanwhile, Twitter was quick to react to Swiggy’s post. One user wrote, ‘Hire him as soon as possible for new ideas to give fast. Another joked, “The next delivery should be in Majnu Bhai style,” referring to the popular Bollywood film ‘Welcome, “Very sure it is some horse from Marine Drive. who take people on a ride. He just put his hand on the Swiggy bag,” added the third.
