Swiss baker creates world’s largest wearable cake dress, sets Guinness World Record

A Swiss baker has set a Guinness World Record by creating the world’s largest wearable cake dress. Natasha Collin Kim Fah Lee Phokas of Sweetcakes shows her dress made of cake material to exhibitors in Bern, Switzerland, on Jan. 15, 2023.

The weight of the wearable cake dress was an extraordinary 131.15 kg. Sweetcakes is a bakery specializing in custom cakes that was founded by Natasha in 2014 and is based in Thun, Switzerland, Guinness World Records reported.

The official handle of Guinness World Records posted the video on their Instagram handle. The caption reads, “Natasha Collin Kim Fah Lee Focus, Largest Wearable Cake Dress (endorsed) by Sweetcakes 131.15 kg (289 lb 13 oz).

Ms. Focus runs a bakery called Sweetcakes that makes custom cakes. He baked this cake to make a Guinness World Record. The effort took place during the Swiss World Wedding Fair. The record breaking cake was brought during the finale of the scheduled fashion show.

According to the GWS press release, the layered cake dress was decorated with flowers made of royal icing and a sweetheart neckline, along with the traditional aspects of a wedding dress.

The video has been viewed 1.3 million times on Instagram with several comments. One user wrote, “Where’s the cake?”… “She’s wearing it”

Another user wrote, “This is unbelievable.”

“Quite impressed she was able to carry so much weight on her shoulders some people can’t even deadlift,” wrote a third user.
