Scotland captain Kyle Coetzer It conceded on Friday that his country cannot be happy just competing in a few Super 12 games of the ICC event as the establishment needs to be brave and push themselves a little more. Coetzer meant reasonable financial stability for the players which would give them the opportunity to pursue their passion with freedom unlike now, when all they are doing is working in some other profession to earn money. “For us in Cricket Scotland, it’s wonderful to see how we managed to get ourselves into the Super 12 (stage) and qualify for the next one. world Cup, so there is much to look forward to. Scotland, who have already been ruled out of the tournament, will take on Pakistan in their last Super 12 match in Sharjah on Sunday.
Coetzer also conceded that it was a high-class execution from the Indian team and that the Indian spinners were always going to be “tough” to face.
He said, “It was a high-class performance from India today. I am very proud of the people but we have a lot to learn and we have to go through such days.”
