statements made by him.

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) national secretary Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga was arrested after AAP worker Sunny Singh filed a complaint against him, alleging that he made provocative statements, spread rumors and encouraged religious and communal enmity. Tried to promote ‘, according to reports. During a rally on March 30, Bagga had allegedly threatened Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

The BJP, however, alleged that the move was initiated out of “political vendetta”, and that the Punjab Police did not follow the due process of taking the Delhi Police into confidence. A case has been registered against the ‘kidnap’ at Delhi’s Jahangipuri station, and Tajinder’s relatives have also alleged a scuffle with the police who came to arrest Bagga.

“Around 10 Punjab Police constables entered my house in the morning. When I tried to make a video of the arrest, they punched me in the face. They also snatched my phone. At 8:30 am, they dragged Tajinder outside,” the leader’s father said in a report. India Today, However, AAP leader Neil Garg denied the reports, saying that Bagga’s father was not assaulted “as far as I know”.

A wild goose chase appears to have led to Bagga’s arrest and subsequent location. Delhi Police sources said that his team was on the way and reached Panipat, and a copy of the FIR against the arrest was sent to DGP Haryana. “There was no official information from Punjab Police. We do not know officially who took Bagga away,” said sources.

“Based on a complaint by a father that his son has been abducted, we have registered a complaint and taken legal action,” the sources said.

However, Mohali SP Manpreet Singh said that the local SHO has been apprised of the action. “Five notices were given but he (Bagga) did not reply to anyone. We have videographed all this action.”

Opposed to BJP, AAP said ‘fight between police of 2 states’

BJP workers are currently protesting outside the Janakpuri police station against Kejriwal and the Punjab Police.

Bagga has been a staunch critic of the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi, and recently filed a case against Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann for ‘entering a gurdwara’ in a ‘drunk state’ in April.

“This coward @ArvindKejriwal sent 50 cops of Punjab Police to illegally arrest @TajinderBagga from his home in Delhi. The family is in a state of shock. You will not be far from this Kejriwal. Enough is enough! (sic) #IstandWithTajinderBagga,” BJYM leader Neha Joshi said in a tweet.

Delhi BJP President Adesh Kumar Gupta said that Punjab Police has broken the law by not taking Delhi Police into confidence. “Bagga and his family were assaulted. There was no information of arrest by Punjab Police and now Bagga has been taken to Punjab,” Gupta said, adding that an FIR will be lodged against Punjab Police in this matter.

“It is extremely shameful that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has started misusing his party’s political power in Punjab to intimidate political opponents. Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor said that every citizen of Delhi stands with the family of Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga in this hour of crisis.

BJP leader Kapil Mishra also condemned the arrest, saying, “Tajinder Bagga was arrested and taken away from his house by 50 Punjab Police personnel. A true Sardar, he cannot be intimidated or weakened by such acts. Why so much fear of a true Sardar?”

But AAP slammed the BJP’s criticism, saying that Bagga was known for his provocative tweets and statements. Delhi AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “It is a fight between the police of two states and the party has nothing to do with it.

“BJP leader @TajinderBagga arrested by Punjab Police. AAP MLA Naresh Balyan tweeted that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had threatened to ‘not let him live’.

Meanwhile, AAP spokesperson Ghanendra Bhardwaj also responded to Mishra’s tweet and accused the leader of ‘spewing poison’. “Mishraji, you keep spewing a lot of poison, you also get well soon, otherwise it may be your turn too!” They said.
