Taliban: Taliban claims to create independent Afghanistan air force despite financial crisis – Times of India

Kabul: Taliban claimed to be Air Force Despite the country grappling with a severe financial crisis.
Acting Defense Minister Mullah Mohamed Yacoub made the remarks at a meeting with Kabul airport personnel, according to Tolo News.
“We’ll set up an air force that won’t need America’s support, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan,” he said.
However, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have bases that are used by countries such as the US.
The Taliban, on the other hand, said they would establish a force of 100,000 personnel.
According to Afghanistanforeign minister of Aamir Khan Muttaki needs a small but well trained army.
Footage has gone viral on social media over the past few days showing Afghan military hardware in transit, and social media users claimed that the hardware was being transported from Afghanistan to Pakistan.
The Interior Ministry responded to the news, saying they do not allow any military hardware and equipment to be taken out of the country and dismissed the claims as baseless.
“We completely reject the smuggling of military equipment into Pakistan. No one will be allowed to do that,” said saeed khostikSpokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
