Islamabad: Taliban requested on Wednesday US Congress to ease and release sanctions AfghanistanAs assets of the country, the country is facing economic turmoil.

Zabihullah Mujahid, deputy minister for culture and information in the Taliban-led government, told the Associated Press that an investigation was ongoing. He did not elaborate.
No one immediately took responsibility for the blast.
The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for an explosion on Saturday that killed one person and injured five others. Two people were injured in a roadside taxi bomb explosion in Kabul on Monday.
