Tamannaah Bhatia will be seen in a unique avatar as Babli Bouncer in Madhur Bhandarkar’s next. Jointly produced by Fox Star Studios and Junglee Pictures, B abi bouncer A coming-of-age fictional story of a female bouncer, set in the original ‘Bouncer Town’ of North India – Asola Fatepur.
“As a filmmaker, there is a lot to be excited about and look forward to when you get a chance to explore a story that has never been told before. I want to portray this story of a female bouncer through a slice-of-life comedic tone that also leaves a lasting impression”, quipped Madhur Bhandarkar. He continued, “With the shooting of bubbly bouncer Starting today, I am as ready as ever to tell this story from the world perspective of female bouncers. It is an amazing story and I am sure Tamannaah will stun everyone with her performance!”
Sharing her thoughts about starting the shoot, Tamannaah Bhatia said, “As soon as I read bubbly bouncer, I fell in love with this character as it is one of the most exciting and fun characters that I have come across. Madhur sir has the ability to define female heroines and Babli is also such a powerful character. For the first time, a film will explore the story of a female bouncer, and I am very excited to be her voice. I can’t wait to dive into this whole new world.”
Babli Bouncer explores the unseen world of bouncers, starring Abhishek Bajaj and Sahil Vaid along with Saurabh Shukla.
Produced by Fox Star Studios and Junglee Pictures, the film will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu later this year.
