A family of three in Tamil Nadu’s Kallakurichi district escaped unhurt when a gas cylinder in their house exploded after a fire broke out. The spine-chilling scenes of the escape were even recorded on CCTV cameras.

The incident took place in a tribal family of Kalvarayana hills in Kallakuruchi district. Homeowner Raja, his wife and their 10-month-old son were the survivors of the fatal accident.

According to the information, last night the king’s wife had put the gas on the stove to boil milk and then went to her neighbor’s place.

The wife forgot about the burning stove and soon their straw house caught fire. As Raja along with his family and neighbors moved away from the burning building, the gas cylinder kept inside the thatched house exploded.

However, everyone narrowly escaped as there was no one near the accident spot. The incident was immediately informed to the fire department and the fire was brought under control after reaching the spot.
