Tata Motors has finally launched the much awaited Nexon EV Max in the Indian market. The longer range Nexon EV Max received some major upgrades as compared to the Nexon standard model. The starting price of Tata Nexon EV Max is Rs 17.74 lakh (ex-showroom), while the starting price of MG ZS EV is Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom). This is a difference of Rs 4.26 lakh, which makes the Tata Nexon EV Max an affordable option. The top variant of Tata Nexon EV Max is priced at Rs 19.24 lakh (ex-showroom), while the MG ZS EV Exclusive is priced at Rs 25.88 lakh (ex-showroom).

The recently launched Tata Nexon EV Max packs a 40.5 kWh battery coupled with an electric motor that produces 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. Coming to the MG ZS EV, it is powered by a large IP69 50.3 kWh battery pack that produces 174 PS of peak power, which gives it an upper hand. The Tata Nexon EV offers an ARAI-certified range of 437 km, while the MG ZS EV offers a claimed range of 461 km. Both the electric SUVs have a top speed of 140 kmph.

Tata Nexon EV Max gets a new Zconnect 2.0 connected car technology with over 48 connected car features. Apart from this, the SUV comes equipped with an auto/manual DTC check, smartwatch integration, monthly vehicle reports, charging limits and more. The top-spec XZ+ LUX variant gets an electric sunroof, air purifier and ventilated front seats.
Coming to the MG ZS EV, it comes equipped with a 7-inch digital driver display, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, connected car technology, panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents, a 360-degree camera and more.
