According to the official order, passengers who will be traveling on Air India flights on Friday will hear about the airline’s acquisition of the Tata group during in-flight announcements.

The Indian government handed over Air India to the Tata group on Thursday afternoon after nearly 69 years, when it was taken over from the group.

In an order, the operations department asked the airline’s pilots to make a specific announcement after closing the door on each flight departing Friday.

According to the order, the announcement would be as follows: “Dear guests, this is your captain (name) speaking ………Welcome to this historic flight, which marks a special event.” According to the order, the announcement read, “Today, Air India has officially become part of the Tata Group again after seven decades. We serve you with renewed commitment and passion on this and every flight of Air India.” look forward to doing.”

“Welcome to the future of Air India! We hope you enjoy the journey. Thank you,” the announcement continued.

After a competitive bidding process, the government on October 8 last year sold Air India to Tales Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the Tata group’s holding company, for Rs 18,000 crore.
