Hyderabad: People of different states want the same Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar RaoTelangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development said, K Tarakarama RaoWho was also KCR’s son on Thursday.
Minister KTR inaugurates 2-BHK Dignity housing scheme Built on 5.18 acres of government land in Old Maredpally of Secunderabad Cantonment. The state government has spent Rs 350 crore on a total of 468 flats in 22 block and 2BHK homes.
KTR visited some of the new F2BHK flats in the newly constructed complex and then addressed a public meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said, “Two hours before I inaugurated this housing scheme, I uploaded a bunch of pictures of newly constructed 2BHK flats on my Twitter account. Within a short span of time, people from different parts of the country I think they want a Chief Minister like KCR in their states also.
Minister KTR also said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has made poor people “millionaires” by launching the “2-BHK Dignity Housing Scheme” in Telangana. Without taking a single rupee from the poor people, the TRS-led government is building 2.72 lakh 2BHK houses in the state and spending Rs 1,800 crore. Except the Telangana government, no other state government in the country is spending crores of rupees for the “2BHK housing scheme”, KTR said.
KTR advised the beneficiaries, “Don’t sell flats to earn money. In fact, no one will buy them. Keep the premises clean and green, as the state government has invested huge money for the construction.”
Secunderabad Cantonment TRS MLA, ji grown up and other cabinet ministers, accompanied KTR at the event.
