Vijaya Reddy is the daughter of former minister and former CLP leader P Janardhan Reddy. his brother P Vishnuvardhan Reddy He is a former MLA from Jubilee Hills constituency. Actually, Vijaya himself contested from Khairatabad in the 2014 elections. YSRCP ticket but ended in third place.
Later, she joined TRS and won as councilor from Khairatabad division. She was angry with the party leadership for ignoring her in the top posts of mayor or deputy mayor in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. He had also tried to contest from Khairatabad assembly constituency on TRS ticket, but he did not get the approval of the party.
She said there are many reasons for not being in the TRS and she will elaborate them when she joins the Congress on June 23.
