Tempus Public Foundation, Hungary invites applications from interested Indian students for Bi-state scholarships for long-term and short-term study trips to Hungary. Interested candidates can submit their applications at scholarship.hoo. The last date to apply is February 24, 2022.
Interested candidates applying for application should send a hard copy of their application along with relevant documents by hand or post to the Section Officer, IC Section, Office of the UGC, Bahadur Shah Zafar Road, New Delhi. The scholarship is being offered by Tempus Public Foundation and UGC is not financially liable in any case.

Tempus Public Foundation Scholarship: Eligibility
Applicants for the scholarship offered by Tempus Foundation must meet the following eligibility criteria. They must be an Indian citizen of at least 18 years of age. It is to be noted that there is no upper age limit of the applicant. In addition, the candidate must have passed his/her final examination with at least 60 per cent marks, as well as completed his/her final studies from a recognized Indian educational institution.
The candidates will get scholarship for partial semester which is three to ten months and for full degree study is two to three years. Tempus Public Foundation provides a monthly stipend of 56,600 HUF (Rs 13,019) for undergraduate and master’s studies and 140,000 HUF (Rs 32,200) for first and second year doctoral studies. For students in the third and fourth years of doctoral studies, the stipend is 180,000 HUF (Rs 41,400). The stipend does not cover the cost of living and hostel accommodation based on university capacity.

For short or long term study trips, the scholarship program provides a monthly stipend of 80,000 HUF (Rs 18,400) and a housing allowance of 70,000 HUF (Rs 16,100) to postgraduate applicants.
For postgraduate applicants, the monthly stipend is 120,000 HUF (Rs 27,600) and housing allowance is 80,000 HUF (18,400). In case of short term tour, the entire amount of allowance will be transferred after conclusion of the grant agreement. For long duration trips, the allowance is transferred on a monthly basis.
