Terrorist killed on mission to kill shopkeeper in Baramulla: J&K Police

During retaliatory firing in Baramulla on Thursday, a terrorist was killed by the security forces and he was identified. The Kashmir Zone Police has said that they have managed to recover a pistol, a loaded magazine and a Pakistan-made grenade from the slain terrorist. Police said he was on a mission to target a shopkeeper in Baramulla.

According to the police, the terrorist has been identified as Javed Ah Wani of Kulgam district. He had helped Gulzar, who was killed on October 20, in the killing of two laborers in Wanpoh, Bihar.

The terrorist was gunned down after he opened fire on security forces while on his way to kill a shopkeeper, he said, adding that the terrorist was involved in the killing of two Bihar civilians.

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said, ‘The terrorists killed are of hybrid type, identified as Javed Ah Wani of Kulgam district and he killed terrorist Gulzar (who was killed on October 20) in the killing of 2 laborers in Wanpoh, Bihar. ) has helped. He was on a mission to target a shopkeeper in Baramulla.

A group of terrorists opened fire on an Area Domination Patrol (ADP) party of Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Cherdari, Baramulla.

Kashmir Zone Police said, “Terrorists fired at Army and Police ADP at Cherdari in Baramulla. Alert teams retaliated and 1 terrorist was killed. Identity is being ascertained. 1 pistol, 1 loaded from his possession.” Magazine and 1 Pak grenade were recovered.”
