Srinagar:
A terrorist involved in the recent killings of civilians in Srinagar was gunned down in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.
He said that the security forces received information about the presence of terrorists in Wahibagh area of Pulwama after which a cordon and search operation was launched there.
Police said the search operation turned into an encounter in which one terrorist was killed.
Kashmir IGP Vijay Kumar tweeted, “Recently a terrorist from Srinagar city involved in the killing of civilians, neutralized in the Pulwama encounter.”
