Tesla has reduced the delivery waiting time for the Model Y in China from four to eight weeks.
The US automaker had earlier said that a buyer in China would have to wait eight to 12 weeks after placing an order for the best-selling model.
Tesla It has completed a major upgrade of production lines at its Shanghai plant and is ramping up weekly production to achieve 22,000 units of the Model 3 and Model Y, Reuters previously reported.
