The fire has been completely brought under control
Thane: A fire broke out in the fifth floor flat of a 12-storey residential building in Thane on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at around 4.45 am in flat no. 503 which is owned by a J Barve.
According to officials of the Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC), 15 to 16 residents of Ascona Bhawan in Raheja Garden were evacuated.
No injuries have been reported.
The fire has been completely brought under control.
Fire officials said the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained and it would be investigated.
