Thane: Five people have been arrested for their alleged involvement in theft in the city Naupada Thane city area, police said on Friday.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Venkat Andale said stolen goods worth Rs 1.69 lakh were recovered from the five, including four women and a man, who is an autorickshaw driver.
All the accused, residents of Kalwa, were nabbed after CCTV footage of the places where the theft took place, he said.
