The issue of drinking water supply continues to be a serious issue across the district, which residents say should also get some solution at the earliest. “Many parts of Thane city especially the developing areas of Ghodbunder Road remain dry and depend on tankers. The situation is no different in other cities of the district as well, after which the CM should resolve the issue at the earliest,” said BJP MLA Sanjay Kelkar.
“An independent dam has always been a pipe dream for the city of Thane and there is an urgent need for a solution to ensure uninterrupted water to the city,” said Davkhare.
