Thane: Work on the first big public underground parking convenience in the city gondevik The area near Thane station is nearing completion and may be opened for use soon. Additional Municipal Commissioner Sandeep Malviksaid on Thursday.
Malvi made the announcement after visiting the facility on Thursday evening. The facility will hold more than 130 cars and bikes at a time to substantially solve the parking crisis in the station area.
TMC is continuously announcing this project and missing the deadline. The parking has been constructed underground below the Gavdevi playground. Officials said the work got delayed due to various reasons and now it has reached the crucial stage.
