20th edition of The Hindu EducationPlus Career Fair 2023 Will be held between 10 am to 6 pm at the Convention Hall of Chennai Trade Center on Saturday and Sunday
The fair will offer parents and students of classes IX to XII a range of options to choose from regarding curriculum, career aspiration and their educational opportunities, thereby helping them make an informed career decision. To aid in this, top educational and financial institutions from across India will be present and career guidance sessions with experts will better help visitors discuss and shape their plans.
The fair will be inaugurated by Professor Vizhinathan Kamakoti, Director, Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
Media celebrity Ramesh Prabha will discuss Engineering and Medicine on the first day of the fair; AI, Data Science and Machine Learning by Prof. Dr. SV Raghavan, Vice-Chancellor, Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Vishwa Mahavidyalaya; Trends and Changes in Higher Education by Dr. TV Gopal, Dean, College of Engineering & Technology, SRMIST; career in sports management by former India cricketer Nilesh Kulkarni; Career in OTT and Mass Media by Sudhish Kamath, Writer, Director, Producer, Made in Madras Inc.
The second day will be addressed by Balaji Sampath, Founder, Ahaguru on topics such as ‘How to crack IIT JEE/NEET’; Opportunities in 5G Technology by Suresh Venugopal, President, Cambridge Mobile Technologies, India; Of. Chartered Accountancy as a Career Option by Saravanan CA, Founder, KS Academy; Cyber Security by Major Vineet Kumar, Global President, Cyber Security Foundation; Textile Sector Skill Council, Chief Executive Officer, National Skill Development Corporation, Dr. J.V. Make in India and Skill India and Emerging Trends in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science by Rao, Dr. Ram Prasad Krishnamurthy, Associate Professor, School of Computing and Data Science, Sai University.
