The makers of Kamal Haasan’s much-awaited Vikram have released the trailer of the film, and needless to say, fans can’t wait to see their favorite star in theatres. Apart from Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil are in the lead roles in the film.
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj tweeted the trailer and said, “My way of showing love and gratitude towards my mentor Kamal Haasan. Yeh Hai Vikram’s Trailer.” The tweet garnered 63 thousand likes.
Actor Kamal Haasan has also posted the poster of the film Viram on Instagram. He wrote, “Our effort is now yours” and shared the trailer link below. The post was flooded with comments. One user wrote, ‘Fire’ and the other wrote, ‘Nailed it, sir’. Many also dropped heart emojis. The post garnered 79,681 likes.
The trailer is 2:38 minutes long and is packed with action-packed sequences. It has got 9.1 million views on YouTube within 13 hours of its release.
Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Raj Kamal Films International, Vikram also stars Kalidas Jayaram, Narayan, Antony Varghese and Arjun Das in supporting roles.
The soundtrack and film score is composed by Anirudh Ravichander with cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj.
Not much is known about the story, but Kamal Haasan plays an agent. The film is also Kamal Haasan’s first collaboration with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Vikram will hit the theaters on June 3.
