New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said the upcoming Union Budget will try to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the common people amid volatile global economic conditions.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget 2023-24 on 1 February.

“The world is seeing a brighter ray of hope, for which I firmly believe that Nirmala Sitharaman will make all efforts to fulfill those aspirations,” he said.

Addressing the media ahead of the Budget Session of Parliament, PM Modi said, “The Budget Session begins today and at the outset, credible voices from the world of the economy, a positive message, a ray of hope and an upbeat start.” Today is an important day, for the first time the President will address a joint session of Parliament.”

Taking forward the idea of ​​’India First, Citizen First’, we will take this budget session of Parliament forward. I hope the opposition leaders will present their views before the Parliament.”

“The President’s first address to the joint session of Parliament is a matter of pride for our Constitution and especially for the respect of women. The eyes of the whole world are on India. He said that the whole world is looking towards the budget of India.

There will be 27 sittings in the budget session. The first part of the session will end on February 14. Parliament will meet on March 12 for the second part of the session which will continue till April 6.
