“With the famous (Krishna), the way (Mohammed) Siraj bowled, it was very quick again with the new ball and in the middle.
“Shardul (Thakur) played a few games, he bowled well in the middle and got a chance with the new ball and Deepak (Chahar), was also very impressed with his skills, the way he turned the ball,” he said. ,
The captain also had words of praise for the Karnataka pacer famous krishnaWho took nine wickets in the series.
“Look, honestly I can’t tell you about Test cricket. But, of course he has impressed everyone with his bowling in this particular series.
“We were looking for someone like him and bowl those overs in the middle and give us that breakthrough, and we clearly saw the way he bowled very fast in the last two games. We could see that He was getting something off the pitch as well.
“From a team perspective, it’s a good sign that he was able to come out and do that. He’s definitely a prospect for the future.”
Rohit said that the middle order batting in the series was good after the normal performance in South Africa.

Rohit said, “We batted according to the conditions and we were talking for a long time that the middle order does not get many opportunities because the top three batsmen batted well in this series.
The captain also backed his predecessor and star batsman Virat Kohli And expressed concern over his form.
Rohit quipped, “Virat Kohli needs confidence? Kya baat rahe rahe hai man.”
“It’s a different matter that he didn’t score a century, but in the series against South Africa, he scored two half-centuries in three matches. I don’t think anything is wrong. The team management isn’t worried about it at all. That,” he added. .
