Ganga Vilas Cruise was stopped in Bihar’s shed due to less water in river Ganges. Cruise had to make the announcement on the third day of his 51-day trip. Officials have given this information on Monday. PM Modi had flagged it off from Varanasi only last week. The cruise was taken up to Chirand before sighting, but due to low water in the Ganga, it was stopped before reaching the coast.

Chirand is the most important place of interest of the district, situated near Doriganj market of Saran district and 11 km south-east of Chapra.
