According to the Reserve Bank of India’s weekly statistical supplement released on Friday, the government did not have any outstanding loans with the central bank for the week ending April 1.

The central government did not have any outstanding loans even in the first week.

The release showed that state governments had received loans of Rs 23.84 billion from the RBI in the week ended April 1, as against Rs 6.70 billion in the previous week.
