Today the Honorable Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari launched the poster of the film ‘Society’. The film is based on a realistic issue which depicts the mindset of a society. It shows that the mindset of the people in a society does not change overnight. The protagonist of the film is a social psychopath who finds it difficult to leave his past.
On the occasion of the poster launch, Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari said that such realistic cinema should be made as it creates awareness and reflects the social reality. We should encourage such films which depict Indian culture instead of adopting western culture.
The film is written and directed by Dheeraj Sarthak, a senior journalist who is known to raise social issues through his films.
IRS Anvesh, a deputy commissioner who has been in the creative field, will be seen in the lead role and has directed the music for the film. The film also stars Swapna Pati who has worked in the web series. The film is produced by Rajesh Mohanty.
