A video of a groom bowing before his bride and touching her feet is going viral on the internet. The short clip which is creating a lot of buzz online is contrary to Indian traditions where a bride usually touches her husband’s feet after marriage.
“One Core Memory,” read the text inserted in the video. It depicts a happy hug after touching the feet of the bride and groom. “Our pundit did not like it at all. But by the end of the ceremony, he whispered to me: “You are one very lucky girl”, wrote Instagram user Diti Goradia while sharing the video.

Since being shared, the post has garnered over 415,000 likes and thousands of views and comments. “Oh this is the cutest thing I saw on the internet today… Like I was disturbing something but my mood was hilarious after seeing this…. Meanwhile, in another heartwarming example, a african american groom Recently said that his marriage takes oath in Malayalam, the native language of his Indian bride.
In the video, the groom was seen taking vows in both Malayalam and English. He initially started in English but soon moved to Malayalam. “I have found my wife,” he said. “I’m going to speak a little Malayalam here,” he added, before translating Pratigya into the bride’s native language. The video has garnered over 67,000 views and thousands of likes on Instagram.
