The makers of Prabhas’ Adipurush have locked its runtime

The makers of Adipurush requested the Project-K team not to release any promotional material till its release.

Adipurush is confirmed to release worldwide on 16th June this year, but the team is yet to start the promotions.

Adipurush is a mythological drama directed by Om Raut, starring Pan India star Prabhas in the lead role as Ram and Kriti Sanon in the lead female role as Sita. The film will premiere at the Tribeca Festival on June 13, 2023, three days before its global release. Additionally, the film stars Saif Ali Khan as Ravana, Sunny Singh as Laxman and Devdutt Nag as Hanuman.

Talking about the length of the film, the official website of Tribeca Festival has said that the runtime of the film Adipurush is 174 minutes, which will be the final length for its screening in India as well. This means that the runtime of the film will be around three hours. The film will be released in 3D and IMAX format and is produced by T-Series and Retrophiles.

A glimpse of the film has created a lot of headlines on social media, with people noticing the difference in the visual effects of the film. Responding to the update, a user said that the upgraded version is much better than the old teaser on YouTube.

Furthermore, the makers of Adipurush are planning to release the film in the overseas markets on their own with the help of a private distribution company. While T-Series, the film’s producers, will pay a nominal commission to the distribution company to expedite the process, they have not sold the rights to anyone. Therefore, the majority of the overseas theatrical revenue will go directly to the producers of the film. It has been confirmed that the film is scheduled to release on 16th June this year.
