Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday said that two flights carrying natives of Bihar from troubled Ukraine will land at Delhi and Mumbai airports on Saturday. Nitish also said that his government has decided to reimburse the full fare of people returning to Bihar from Ukraine.
He tweeted, “We have received information that two flights carrying natives of Bihar from Ukraine will land at Delhi and Mumbai airports tomorrow. The state government has decided to reimburse all fares for those returning from Ukraine to Bihar. ” In Hindi.
The CM also said that his government is fully committed to bring back the natives of Bihar, who are currently stranded in Ukraine due to the current crisis in that country. “The Resident Commissioner of Bihar in Delhi has been asked to take appropriate action in coordination with the officials of the Ministry of External Affairs,” Nitish said.
Nitish said, “The central government has decided to send a special plane to bring back Indians from Ukraine. I thank the central government for this step.”
State IPRD Minister Sanjay Kumar Jha said that 21 students of Bihar from Ukraine are being evacuated by the Ministry of External Affairs through Bucharest. They will reach Delhi on Saturday morning.
