The three-day ‘Anantha Balotsavam’ concludes with a vibrant dance performance

The third ‘Anantha Balotsavam’, held at the grounds of the Government Arts College, concluded on a colorful note with over 1,000 children from 100 government and private schools participating in 60 different events over the last three days.

On Sunday, Kolattam, classical dance, folk dance and other academic competitions like quiz and speech attracted students and their parents at four different places in the college campus. Students dressed in colorful outfits cheered each other and gave away prizes to the winners of junior and senior categories.

On Saturday, Ghafoor, a student of Aflatus Global School, stood out with his performance when he dressed up as Alluri Seetharamaraju in the fancy dress competition. Children also participated in short drama and skit competition. While 2,000 students participated on the first day, 1,200 students participated on the second day.

Anant Balotsav Samiti organized the event with the support of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).
