The water inflow into the Stanley reservoir in Mettur increased to 1,304 cusecs on Thursday.
The water level of the dam was 103.71 feet, while its full capacity was 120 feet. The storage level stood at 69.73 TMC against the full capacity of 93.47 TMC. The water in the dam increased to 1,304 cusecs from 1,154 cusecs on Wednesday. The amount of water released into the Cauvery River through the dam and powerhouse tunnel is maintained at 1,000 cusecs for drinking water schemes.
