The Weeknd, Lily-Rose Depp’s ‘The Idol’ gets a premiere date and a new teaser

Abel ‘The Weeknd’ Tesfaye and Lily-Rose Depp musical drama Sculpture is set to premiere June 4 on HBO. Co-created by Sam Levinson of Euphoria fame, The Weeknd and Reza Faheem, the show follows the life of Jocelyn (Depp) as she sets out to become the biggest pop star in America. HBO released a new teaser for the show on April 17.

Sculpture ready to debut Out of competition at Cannes Film Festival, The show will be screened at the 76th edition of the prestigious festival, which will run from May 16 to May 27. The first two or three episodes in the six-part season are expected to be screened at the festival.

The show also stars Troye Sivan, Dan Levy, Da’avin Joy Randolph, Eli Roth, Hari Neff, Jane Adams, Jenny Ruby Jane, Mike Dean, Moses Sumney, Rachel Sennott, Ramsey, Susanna Son and Hank Azaria.

last month, Rolling stone accused The show of indulging in torture porn. When the magazine interviewed 13 members of the show’s cast and crew, they were reportedly told that Levinson had used “disturbing sexual content and nudity to match – and even surpass – has diluted the show’s overarching message by dialing down its most successful shows, Excitement.

“What I signed up for was a dark satire of fame and the fame model in the 21st century. The things we subject our talents and stars to, the forces that propel people into the limelight and the post-Trump How the world can be manipulated. It went from satire to something that was satirizing,” said a production member.
