Government of West Bengal It was announced on Wednesday that the night curfew will be relaxed on March 17 and 18 in view of the festival of Holi.

“on the occasion of Holi festivalAs already relaxed for the night of March 17, 2022 vide Order No-753/XXV-ISS/2M-22/2020 dated 10/03/2022, movement of people and vehicles between 12 midnight to 5 am Related restrictions will also be implemented. Night curfew continues in West Bengal under Disaster Management Act 2005 West Bengal Epidemic Diseases, COVID-19 Regulations 2020, from 12 am to 5 am.

The state on Tuesday had issued an official notice declaring that the state would retain its ongoing restrictions to contain the spread of the deadly novel coronavirus till March 31.

Tuesday’s notice further mentioned that there is a ban on movement of people and vehicles, and public gatherings between 12 am and 5 am, except on March 17, on the occasion of ‘Holika Dahan’.
