A day after Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray gave an ultimatum to the state government reiterating his demand to remove loudspeakers from mosques, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said the MNS supremo “should not be given so much”. importance”.

On Raj Thackeray’s ultimatum on loudspeakers in mosques, Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said, “So much importance should not be given to Raj Thackeray, when the right time comes, I will definitely answer it, I have an answer to every question.”

Raj Thackeray on Tuesday pitched for a Uniform Civil Code, stressed the need to control population growth and reiterated his demand that loudspeakers at mosques be removed, giving an ultimatum to the Maharashtra government to act before May 3.

Thackeray said that if the Shiv Sena-led state government does not remove loudspeakers from mosques before May 3, MNS workers will play Hanuman Chalisa in front of mosques it occurs. ,

Responding to criticism that he used to attack Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, but softened his stand after receiving the Enforcement Directorate’s notice, Thackeray denied that his political stance kept changing. .

Thackeray said if the BJP government took any wrong decision, he would not hesitate to criticize it again.

He also sought to know why the ED raided the family members of NCP leader and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar but not Pawar’s cousin Supriya Sule.
