He tweeted that several social media platforms are claiming to have started a crypto project by him, which he termed as fake news and asked netizens not to click on any such links. He asked his followers and Twitter users to report such posts as misleading/false. Nilekani was highlighting the fact that our smartphones give us a lot of information but also take away our ability to think.

The man behind Aadhaar, Nandan Nilekani, was referring to the well being of smartphone users. Nilekani has written a book called The Art of Bitfulness which describes how we can use technology to think differently instead of blaming it entirely.

The art of bitfulness has taken a different path that says how technology can help us think better.

Nandan Nilekani also shared the home screen of his phone and said that his phone has only essential apps. He encouraged social media users and their fans to share the home screen of their smartphones. He wrote, ‘No WhatsApp, no notification badge. Essential apps only.”
