Imagine going to the theater to watch the first day show of the most awaited movie of the year and not able to watch the second half of the movie due to a technical glitch.
This is exactly what happened during the screening of SS Rajamouli’s film at a theater in California RRR, The film critic tweeted about the incident today, saying that the theater showed the first part of the film, but did not show the second part.
Ms. Chopra said on Twitter, “First time this has happened! went to #RRR’s Cinemark North Hollywood #firstdayfirstshow. Saw the first half but not the second because the theater didn’t swallow it.”
Elaborating further on the error, he said that the manager had not received instructions that there was more.

RRR is a 1920s Fantasy Story, The film is based on two freedom fighters – Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitaramaraju, who fought against the British Raj and the Nizam of Hyderabad.
The film starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan was brought down to 3 hours 1 minute after the makers cut it. The earlier version was 3 hours 56 minutes long.
The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson and Olivia Morris. It was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 336 crore.
SS Rajamouli’s last film was Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which released in 2017.
