It is the Indian fantasy sports company Dream11 that has come up with a ‘Dream Come True’ rule which they call ‘Dream11 Unplugged’. The policy states that the firm’s employees can completely separate themselves from work for up to one full week. This means they will be free of any phone calls, emails, Slack, WhatsApp groups or chats. The new policy was announced by the company in a statement published on LinkedIn.

“At Dream11, we exclude ‘Dreamster’ from all stadium communication channels, including Slack, email and even WhatsApp groups,” read the statement. Explaining the policy, the company said that it was made to ensure that employees are not bothered by work-related issues when they are spending some quality time with their families. The firm believes that this can not only provide well-earned rest time to their employees but also enhance their quality of life and productivity.

“Dreamster is unplugged. We do this to ensure that no one from the Dreamster working environment can come into contact with them while they enjoy their well-earned vacation. Because we believe that the lives of loved ones Having a good time together or completely relaxing on vacation can boost overall mood, quality of life, productivity in general and more,” the company said.
