One of the biggest names in professional wrestling, The Great Khali follows a strict diet and workout plan. He became a force to be reckoned with in the world of WWE due to his solid overall health and lifestyle choices. He is very careful about what he eats and how much exercise he gets. With a massive body of over 7 feet to maintain, Khali’s diet is quite large. His daily diet plan is rich in proteins with two main items. So what did The Great Khali put on his plate that made his performance in the ring a success?

In a video, he shared on Instagram, Khali said that he eats eggs and figs every day. Being rich in a good amount of protein, cakes make them an essential part of your diet. Eggs are a versatile, inexpensive and digestible source of protein. A powerhouse of antioxidant flavonoids, figs are prized for their abundance of calcium, iron, magnesium, copper, potassium, selenium and super-rich mineral content such as zinc, vitamins A, E, K and folate.

To maintain his strong body, Khali follows an extensive workout routine and trains for a few hours every day. He does not believe in taking shortcuts and mixes bodyweight exercises and yoga to achieve a certain level of fitness.

During an interview with DNA, Khali mentioned, “I am very conscious about what I eat, but I also enjoy my favorite dishes. My diet consists of chicken, egg, rice, lentils. I I focus on a balanced diet that has the right mix of protein, carbohydrates, fiber and fat.He also admitted to love paratha or pizza and his favorite – KFC Double Down Burger.

Khali became the first professional wrestler from India to sign a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Since his debut in 2006, Khali has played important matches with the likes of John Cena. Khali, who entertained fans worldwide with his in-ring skills until 2014, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the 2021 class.
