This quick, delicious Veg Matar is a perfect snack to have with puff tea

While we were searching for some quick and delicious snack recipes, we found this recipe by a food vlogger from YouTube channel “Cook with Parul”. Here, she has previously made the dough for the puffs and layered it to create a flaky texture. Then she pours in the pea filling and completes the dish! Sounds easy to make, doesn’t it? Here’s how to make Veg Pea Puff. Veg Pea Puff Recipe

In a bowl, add all purpose flour and wheat flour. Then add salt, carom seeds, oil and water gradually and knead the dough. Cover it with a wet cloth and keep it for 10 minutes. Then in a grinding jar, add green peas and potatoes and make a coarse texture. After this, heat a pan and add some oil, cumin, finely chopped onion in it. Fry them lightly. Now add green chili, garlic and ginger. Add green peas mixture. Add little water and let it cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes. After this add spices like coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, chaat masala and salt as per taste. Mix until all the flavors are mixed.

Now make a solution of cornflour in a bowl and mix ghee in it. Make round balls from the dough and spread the cornflour batter in a flat shape. Repeat the process with the whole dough and stack them together. Now roll it again, cut and make roti so that the layers are visible. Fill the finished filling, close and deep fry! Once done, serve and enjoy!
